Here’s a little about me

As a lifelong food enthusiast, my journey into the world of nutrition and culinary arts started as a teenager when I trained as a professional chef. I learned to appreciate the intricacies of flavour, technique, and presentation. However, my path took a different turn when I faced gut problems as a young adult. Frustratingly, medical tests yielded no clear answer. But my determination led me to seek help from a nutritionist who effectively resolved my issues through dietary changes.
This life-changing experience ignited a lifelong interest in health and nutrition. After many years outside of the food industry and with my children all grown up and off to university, I finally had time to learn more about nutrition and the intricate relationship between food and health. I am now an accredited nutritional advisor, and still currently working towards becoming a nutritional therapist.
I have worked with Cooking Good, creating recipes and producing informative cooking videos, aiming to bridge the gap between delicious cuisine and optimal well-being.
My journey is a testament to the profound impact that the right nutrition can have on our health and happiness, and I am dedicated to helping others on their own path to wellness through the power of food.
